05 Feb Sanctified and Glorified
Leviticus 10:3(ESV)
3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.
God made it crystal clear to all of us. He is the Great I AM. He is the ultimate sanctification. He is sinless and makes no error. He is righteous. He demands worship not because He is some ego-maniac God but because He is God and He is worthy of worship.
He declares to His people that He will be sanctified. He is to be treated with reverence and awe. He also declared before all people whether believers or not – that He will be glorified.
As Christians, we have to understand who the ultimate hero is. It is not us. We are not the center of the universe and we cannot demand to be the center of the universe. Jesus is the Hero. Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is to be worshipped, glorified and elevated as the name above all names.
How about you? How is your worship of God? Do you live as if He is King and Lord over your life?
